The basics of our Sales Agent program
In short, we are an outsourced sales team that works on your behalf. We represent you in Vietnam, and therefore have a vested interest in your needs to be successful. The saying, “we aren’t successful unless you are”, is at the heart of our company.
Things to be prepared for:
- Be prepared to interact in different time zones and rely on communication via online platforms such as Zoom, Skype and email.
- Know your goals and expectations. Often needs are vague, and expectations are high. Setting obtainable objectives is critical.
- Depending on a number of details, retainers, fees, incentives/commission are all variable. We like to determine those details early, for you to make a sound decisions.
- Know if you would like us to also be your first point of contact. Often times you have existing business and leads and need additional support from us.
- Having international experience is very helpful, but not mandatory, however making sure you are ready is essential for success. It may take time to get your prepared or bumps at first. That’s normal!
The Process
Our process begins with you, and your products.
- First we begin by the initial vetting of our partnership. This includes the scope, terms, desired outcomes and a dive into your products and history.
- Second we dive into the ability for you to execute sales in international markets. This revolves around meeting deliveries and logistics that may be involved, all the way to payment and contract T&C’s, and ongoing support with your soon to be customers.
- Next, we like to have an intensive training session with you, on your product(s). This training will then be filtered down to our sales force for implementation.
- We generally use your marketing materials, presentations and other tools to support the selling process, so having those ready is key. If the need arises for any translation of documents etc., we can discuss that, but generally English is fine.
- We then flush out all the communication channels and contact points we need to have. In general we have 1 contact point for you.
- Once training and communication is finalized, we then work with you to create a Customer Needs Assessment (CNA), or script, that helps with the initial talks with prospective clients.
- From here we then begin the sales process of filling a pipeline and bringing opportunities to you.
